Honorable teachers and Staffs

My beloved students......

Thank you for giving me to deliver speech on the Teacher Day. Now I would like to speak "How to be a great teacher through 3 pro".

My dearest children

Do you know that become a teacher is not an easy thing. There are many steps and methods to be the best teacher. Based on my opinion there are 3 characteristics to be a good teacher.

First, Productive

Productive means having the power to produce. If you're productive that means you do a lot. You create or produce large amounts of something. As a teacher probably you;

- write article about education or essay

- write a book, students' worksheet or LKS

- do research,  at least "CAR" Classroom Action Research

- join teacher competition etc.

Second, Professional : have competence or qualified in a profession

Professional means they are paid for their service rather than doing it on an amateur basis. Professional teacher should conduct in a professional manner such as

- come on time (discipline)

- prepare before teaching and mastery the material of teaching

- able to manage classroom well

- have good relationship to students and their parents etc

Third, Proactive

Proactive means a person who get things done. If you are proactive teacher you make things happen, instead of waiting for them to happen to you. When there are many students competitions, you will look for the students to join that. You do not need to wait the principal's command but you ask for his/her permission to do that. You do that for students' improvement and the good name of school. When the student has a problem, you will help him/her. Teach them become good and clever students is your priority.

Ladies and gentlemen...

That's all I can share to you. Remember William Arthur Ward said "The mediocre teacher tells, The good teacher explains, The superior teacher demonstrates, The great teacher inspires". I hope this will inspire you to be a great teacher. HAPPY TEACHER DAY. May we get success now and forever.
